Hi everyone, It's been such a busy time, gearing up for the kids summer holidays, revamping my writing career, and starting a brand new company... more of that to come later! Because of all the lovely support I have had from you all on
Twitter I have decided to start my own
blog, writing about my adventures with Amy, my full-of-beans three year-old.
You can find it at

I hope you like it!
Lots of love, Andrea x

Hi everyone,
What a fun night at the Baftas! It was such a special occasion I'm glad I decided to go for it in a beautiful dress by Caroline Castigliano. It took a fair bit of getting into, but it was worth it... what we women do! Hello to everyone who queued for hours to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars, I hope you managed to see everyone you wanted to. I went with my best friend Jane, who was desperate to see Keifer Sutherland who was rumoured to be going. Instead we had a lovely chat with my fellow Scot John Hannah, which more than made up for it. We were allowed to keep our phones on during the ceremony, so it was fun to follow it on Twitter and see all the comments flying in - I'm so glad I started doing it, I've 'chatted' to some great people over the past month I've been on. If you haven't tried it yet, give it a go - you can follow me on

Lots of love, Andrea x

Hi everyone,
A big thanks to everyone who took part in the Pink Ribbon Walk on Saturday at Petworth House, Sussex. It was a cold, wet and grey day, but was brightened by the sea of pink T-shirts, wigs and hats of the incredible women who walked between 10 and 20 miles to raise money for Breast Cancer Care. I walked 10 miles with my sister Linda and my dog Jackson. We were pretty wet and tired by the end, but loved it, and will be doing it again!
On Sunday I went to see my friend Jane MacDonald perform her sell-out show at the London Palladium. She was fantastic! It was filmed for a new DVD, so I will let you know when it is out so you can rush out and get it.
With love,
Andrea. x

Hi everyone,
Welcome to my new look website! I really hope you like it; Owen (my web
designer) and I spent a long time fiddling with it until we came up with something we were happy with. Let me know what you think.
I've been very busy this past week as I have just joined Twitter - I'm addicted! You can follow me on
twitter.com/andrea_mclean, and I'd love to hear from you. I had a lovely time at the launch of the cruise liner Auzura in Southampton last week, partying with Angela Griffin, Tom Chambers and Camilla Dallerup. We were doing karaoke until the wee hours, and had very sore heads the next day.
I hope you enjoyed seeing Martina Navratilova on Loose Women, she is a wonderful lady and we all wish her a full recovery from breast cancer.
With love,
Andrea. x

Hi everyone,
I went to see the lovely Antony Costa in his new show Popstar The Musical last night. It is a real laugh and the audience really get to vote for their favourite to win! Sam Kane and John Altman are also in it and are great.
It is on tour at the moment, so if you see it at your local theatre go along with some friends, you'll really enjoy it!
With love,
Andrea. x

Well I have just had one of the funniest few hours of my life! I went on the brilliant Soccer AM as a surprise for hubby Steve. He had no idea and apparently nearly fell off his chair when I walked on. It was a joke that Helen Chamberlain and I were playing on him as he thinks she's the perfect woman - pretty and likes football and darts! Everyone was lovely, it is as much fun being on the show as it is watching it at home, even though I know nothing about football.

Hi everyone,
Well that's Half Term out the way! It was great spending time with the kids, but I have to say I am quietly looking forward to getting back to our usual routine again. The best bit about this week was taking my son and his friend to the cinema to see Avatar in 3D - if you haven't seen it yet, go! We all loved it, and I thought it was wonderful.
I'm getting very excited as I am going to be revamping my website at last. If there are any particular things you would like to see here then let me know and I will see if I can do it. It's a work in progress!

What a weekend! I was in Newcastle for Denise Welch and Tim Healy's charity concert 'Sunday For Sammy' which is a brilliant bi-annual event in the North East. Me, Denise, Angela Lonsdale, Gaynor Faye and Pam Royle did a sketch called Slack Lasses, you can imagine how that went! I surprised myself and loved being on stage, it was brilliant fun. Tim sang, Mark Knopfler was a surprise guest, and the
Auf Wiedersehen boys got back together for the night. It was all brilliant, and I really hope I can do it again in two years time.
Enjoy your week, it looks like it's going to be a cold one!
